Starting off year #3 surviving cancer with the same size cancer tumor as last year. The scan shows no new growth which shows that the immunotherapy is helping to maintain the cancer at the size the chemo shrunk it to a year and a half ago. Great news once again and again I thank God for all the extended time he has granted me and my family. Also the scan showed my kidneys are enflamed leading me to now add a urologist to my team. I have an appointment next week to see what the cause may be. With patience this too will pass. What is very frustrating is when the maintenance inhaler you have used for the past two years is discontinued. This involves learning it is discontinued through your insurance company when they suddenly refuse to cover it. The alternatives they list and will cover turn out to be also discontinued or contain dairy with some scarry side effects. Flovent has been part of my preventative plan for the past two years so the discontinuation of this product messes with the security I have in my treatment plan. Never a dull moment with this disease. As usual my wonderful support system is available to help when ever I need them. In the meantime I continue creating goals to live for and experience with my family. Non are exotic or from any made up bucket list. However every goal I reach becomes a memory for me and my family to hold on to forever. They provide me the will to go forward and face the days I can survive knowing what this disease is known to do to many of us with this diagnosis.

A Comeback for Every Setback
It’s easy to let difficulties and disappointments cause us to lose our passion in life and stop believing for things to turn around. But if you could see what God has planned for you—the doors He’s going to open, the people you’re going to meet, the giants you’re going to defeat—you would go out each day excited about your future. You’d have the expectancy that allows God to do great things. He has a comeback for every setback, a new beginning for every loss, mercy for every mistake. He’s already planned to bring you out better, to heal you, to promote you.
When you realize this, it changes your perspective. You know there’s not a problem you’ll face where God hasn’t already lined up a solution—the right people, the healing, breaks you need, the favor. There’s not a dream for which God hasn’t already arranged the wisdom, the creativity, the connections, heath or the funding. When you know that the Most High God has planned out your days, you can be glad and live out of a place of rest.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that in the midst of challenges and setbacks, I can rest in the security of knowing that You have a plan that You are working out for me. Thank You that Your favor is upon me. I believe that You will bring me out better than ever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Thankyou so much for the prayers and well wishes. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you and have you in my life. VN has been exceptional with my circumstances. I remain so blessed and have God to thank for every day he grants me to remain with my family and friends.i want to thank you for your support and wish love and wellness to you and your family.
