Fall is close

As I headed to treatment with my daughter Lindsey, my angel who takes such great care of me, I notice that the leaves are starting to change and the feeling of fall is in the air. Fairs are everywhere. Oh how I love fairs. I was able to meet my new Oncologist yesterday and really do like him. He appears very thorough with answering any questions my daughter’s Jen and Lindsey had for him. Anyone who knows my daughter’s know either by experience or witnessing the drills my kids can put one through when it comes to concerns with any family member. He was kind and courteous and very genuine with his responses to all questions and any jokes I made with him. The scan results were finally in which he reviewed thoroughly with us. Scan showed no new growth in lungs. Some lymph nodes had grew a little-5mm. One lymph node in your left arm pit grew a good amount and has consistently been growing. All the others swell and then go down. If the MRI comes back showing just sciatic then he will order a PET scan to further investigate the lymph node. Radiation may be the course of treatment for shrinking the node.He asked for the MRI to be read so he should hear within the week. After treatment today Lindsey and I went to Lunch at our favorite spot…Lyman’s Apple Barrel for their delicious Cortland sandwich. I will follow up when the updates are available. Until then enjoy the Fall rolling in and make great memories.

  1. I just saw this and read it. I am lost with words. Sometimes I ask God why this is happened to good people and yet the ugly ones always seem to get away with everything but I guess I’m asking the wrong questions you’re always in my thoughts. I follow you on Facebook and like I said, I don’t know what to say. I am lost with words, but my heart is with you and I feel that life is not fair cancer got my oldest son he was 49 left behind three beautiful children, which are my grandchildren someday we have to talk on the phone you never far from my thoughts that’s a God truth
